BATHROOM AND SECOND FLOOR RENOVATION
FEATURED PROJECT
HOW TO MAKE A HOUSE A HOME
What makes a house a home? Barb and Jack know the playbook. For over 30 years, their house has been the hub of their extended family. They’ve raised two children, are the joyful grandparents of five, and continue to regularly host family gatherings. They value the experiences they have and the memories their house holds. That means they’ve always been willing to invest in quality. They see the renovations they undertake as valuable investments for the long term, and their primary concern is that the work gets done properly. To get things done properly, they “wouldn’t call anyone else” but Westcliff Renovations & Construction.
Their most recent project was a complete overhaul of the master bedroom's ensuite bathroom. The existing bathroom was dated and awkwardly laid out, leaving certain spaces unused. Barb had a vision for her dream bathroom, and brought the Westcliff team on board to bring it to life. After collaborating to finalize plans and design choices, including facilitated visits to stores to assess fixtures and materials, the Westcliff team got to work. They removed all of the existing fixtures and took out the old flooring. They fixed all of the walls and coordinated and executed the installation and undermounting of new fixtures, connecting the plumbing and electrical systems, painted the room, and executed the finishing work that needed to be completed.
The end results speak for themselves. Visitors express that the bathroom has a “spa like feel”. Beautiful cultured marble is perfectly formed to maximize space and give the bathroom a luxurious and relaxing feel. The enlarged vanity is a vibrant focal point, and the improved layout maximizes space and flow.

SECOND FLOOR FACELIFT
Trust is a major factor when hiring a contractor. The trust that Barb and Jack place in Westcliff is unparalleled - during the construction period, they were comfortable with handing over the keys to their house while they enjoyed a vacation. After completing the bathroom, the Westcliff team continued their work out into the rest of the second floor of the house to extend the elegance and refreshed presentation of the bathroom.
They revised the hallways and bedrooms by installing new hardwood flooring, upgrading electrical fixtures, changing door knobs and fixtures, adding sleek baseboards and crown molding, refacing the existing popcorn ceiling to a smooth surface, and planning and installing a closet organization system. All of these upgrades were done with careful consideration of coordinating with the rest of the colours, elements, and materials used in the rest of the house.

Needless to say, Barb and Jack are ecstatic with the work done by the Westcliff team, and eagerly recommend them to others. Their home is a centrepiece of their lives, and they want others to have a similarly positive experience. They intend to have the house stay in the family for generations to come, and the quality work done by Westcliff will ensure that it stands the test of time.
